New Years Revolution
WWE New Year's Revolution is a annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment for the RAW brand. It is the first of two pay-per-views to be held during the month of January (the other being the annual Royal Rumble). Thus far, both events held have featured an Elimination Chamber match.
2005
New Year's Revolution 2005 took place on January 9, 2005 from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The 2005 event was the first WWE PPV event to be held in Puerto Rico. Tickets for this event sold out in less than a month after being available for sale, marking one of the fastest selling events in the short history of the Coliseum.
* Dark match: The Hurricane and Rosey defeated La Résistance (Sylvain Grenier and Robért Conway) (5:13)
* Eugene and William Regal defeated Christian and Tyson Tomko to retain the World Tag Team Championship (12:22)
o Eugene pinned Tomko with a schoolboy.
o Eugene suffered a real injury during this match, with a ruptured left patella tendon which required surgery.
* Trish Stratus defeated Lita to win the WWE Women's Championship (3:46)
o Stratus pinned Lita after a Chick Kick.
o Lita suffered a real injury during this match, suffering a torn ACL ligament from a botched Lou Thesz Press.
* Shelton Benjamin defeated Maven to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship (6:08)
o Benjamin pinned Maven with a roll-up.
* Shelton Benjamin defeated Maven to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship (0:05)
o Benjamin pinned Maven after a T-Bone Suplex.
o Maven requested his rematch right after he lost the first match.
* Muhammad Hassan (w/Daivari) defeated Jerry Lawler (w/Jim Ross) (10:51)
o Hassan pinned Lawler after a Inverted STO.
* Kane defeated Snitsky (11:38)
o Kane pinned Snitsky after a Tombstone Piledriver.
* Triple H defeated Edge, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Batista and Randy Orton (w/Shawn Michaels as Special Guest Referee) in an Elimination Chamber match to win the vacant World Heavyweight Championship (34:55)
2006
New Year's Revolution 2006 took place on January 8, 2006 from the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York. The official theme song was "Stricken" by Disturbed.
* HEAT match: Chavo Guerrero defeated Snitsky (5:13)
o Guerrero pinned Snitsky after a Frog Splash.
* Ric Flair defeated Edge (w/Lita) to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship (7:17)
o Edge was disqualified for hitting Flair with his briefcase.
* Trish Stratus defeated Mickie James to retain the WWE Women's Championship (7:18)
o Stratus pinned James after a Chick Kick.
* Jerry Lawler defeated Gregory Helms (9:32)
o Lawler pinned Helms after a Diving Fist Drop.
* Triple H defeated The Big Show (16:11)
o Triple H pinned Big Show after a Pedigree.
* Shelton Benjamin (w/Momma Benjamin) defeated Viscera (7:48)
o Benjamin pinned Viscera after Momma Benjamin hit Viscera with a loaded purse.
* Ashley Massaro defeated Maria Kanellis, Torrie Wilson, Victoria, and Candice Michelle in the first ever Bra & Panties Gauntlet match (11:01)
o Maria stripped Michelle (2:09)
o Maria stripped Wilson
o Victoria stripped Maria
o Ashley stripped Victoria of her pants while The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young stripped her top.
* John Cena defeated Kurt Angle, Chris Masters, Carlito, Shawn Michaels and Kane in an Elimination Chamber match to retain the WWE Championship (28:23)

New Year's Revolution 2007 took place on January 7, 2007 at the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri. This was the final RAW brand exclusive PPV.
* Dark match: Vladimir Kozlov defeated Eugene (2:00)
o Kozlov pinned Eugene.
* Jeff Hardy defeated Johnny Nitro (w/Melina) in a Steel cage match to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship (14:41)
o Hardy won by escaping the cage.
* Cryme Tyme (JTG and Shad Gaspard) defeated The Highlanders (Robbie and Rory), The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas), Jim Duggan and Super Crazy, and Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch in a Tag Team Turmoil match (18:14)
o Benjamin pinned Robbie after a Superplex (5:02)
o Haas pinned Super Crazy with a Bridging back suplex (7:30)
o Murdoch pinned Haas after Cade attacked Haas from behind (11:51)

* Kenny Dykstra defeated Ric Flair (9:59)
o Dykstra pinned Flair with an inside cradle after a low blow.
* Mickie James defeated Victoria to retain the WWE Women's Championship (6:49)
o James pinned Victoria after a DDT.
o During the match, Melina tried to interfere on Victoria's behalf but was stopped by Candice Michelle and Maria.
* World Tag Team Champions Rated-RKO (Edge and Randy Orton) fought D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) to a no contest (23:20)
o The match was ended after Triple H suffered a legit quadriceps injury, Rated-RKO retained the titles.
* Chris Masters defeated Carlito (w/Torrie Wilson) (5:58)
o Masters pinned Carlito while holding his tights.
* John Cena defeated Umaga (w/Armando Alejandro Estrada) to retain the WWE Championship (17:16)
